Realtime Processors

"Explain how real-time processors work"
Rea-Time Processors work by having you pass information from your web site to the Secure Payment Gateway. The Gateway collects the customer's secure transaction information (e.g., credit card number and expiration date) and processes the secure transaction for you on their secure web server.

"How do I set up a real-time processor to work with this software?"
You need to contact the processor of your choice, and get an account setup with them. Once they have given you the required store, or account information, you input it into this administration tool, and activate the processor (by clicking on the one you want to use and clicking the "ACTIVATE" button). Once you have done that, any customer making a purchase from your catalog will be sent to that real-time processor to check out.
