| UPS (Auto-Calculate based on weight)
Section:
This section uses UPS (United Parcel Service) for your shipping
needs. It takes the product weight (that you must specify when you
create or edit the product) and calculates the shipping real-time
to figure out the most exact shipping estimate possible. It will
then display 4 shipping possibilities for the customer that they
can choose between. (Ground, 3-day, 2-day, Overnight).
Flat Rate (always the same rate) Section:
This uses a flat shipping rate for every product in your catalog.
If you set it to $5.00, then every product they purchase will add
$5.00 to their shipping total.
Total Price (depends on price) Section:
This calculates the shipping based on the Final Total Price for
all the items the customer has in their shopping cart. You set price
ranges, then set shipping costs that correspond to those various
ranges that you set.
Percentage (based on total sale) Section:
This uses a fixed percentage to calculate the shipping based on
the Final Total Price for all the items the customer has in their
shopping cart. If the total is $50.00 and you have the shipping
set to 8% then the shipping will be calculated at $4.00
Per Product (set when you Add or Edit a product) Section:
This calculates the shipping on a per-product basis, either by a
single cost per product set in this shipping section, or based on
a single cost per product that you set when you create or edit the
product.
